FDA Issues Warning On Internet HIV Kits

The US Food and Drug Administration has warned consumers about the dangers of purchasing HIV home testing kits from Internet sources.
The FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) provides detailed information on the HIV tests that are approved and the HIV tests that are not. Consumers can also get more information on HIV home test kits, by calling the HIV/AIDS Program of the FDA, in the Office of Special Health Issues at 301-827-4460.
